We were delighted to be in Paris again for the 27th World Satellite Business Week (WSBW). This gathering of industry professionals – organised by the team at NovaSpace Summits – is a highlight on the annual conference calendar. The 5-day event (16-20 September) has always brought together C-suite executives from the Satellite Communications fraternity. But in recent years has expanded into LEO Earth Observation fields and now also sees companies and topics represented focused on beyond GEO exploration. SSTL’s Chairman Sir Martin Sweeting spoke on Wednesday morning’s ‘Smallsats Beyond LEO’ panel.. (see main pic and pic below.)

The location – Westin Hotel near Place Vendome – is also one of the main draws of the event and certainly a grand and interesting place to spend the week. Lunch is served in the Imperial Room (pic below), probably the most elegant location for a business meal we are lucky enough to experience.
